A blended workshop of asana, meditation & discussion — suitable for all levels
2pm–4pm (2 hours)
We are thrilled to welcome Ryan Mannix to The Space for this special event.
This workshop will explore the qualities and benefits of equanimity, and examine the ways in which we can use our practice to cultivate calmness and composure throughout the ups and downs of life.
The workshop will combine yoga asanas, meditation and discussion in a progressive practice that's suitable for beginners and intermediate yogis.
Participants will leave with new insights and tools to bring more peace and resilience into your daily experiences.
Ryan has always had a keen interest in movement. He was a professional athlete for over ten years, representing Australia in both running and duathlons.
When he was sidelined with an injury from a serious bike accident, he started yoga as a means of rehabilitation. What was meant to be short term, became a passion for this new form of movement.
Ryan's classes and workshops are focused on strong, flowing movement — but also very much centred around connecting with the body and calming the mind. His nurturing presence creates a supportive space for his students to delve deeper into their practice.
